I arched my back as Zac’s lips attacked my neck. My hands slowly slid across his bare back and up into his short tangled tresses. I closed my eyes as his fingers slipped under my skirt and started to rub my clit. I bit my lip and suppressed the urge to moan. I had to be quiet since we were in his bunk and the risk of getting caught was very high.
He ran his tongue along the rim of my ear. “You want to?” He whispered, pressing his hips into mine. I could feel his erection through his shorts so well and I whimpered.
“Fuck Zac,” I breathed, “Why do you do this to me?”
“Do what?” He asked, a smile playing on his lips
“No, I don’t.” He played, “Why don’t you tell me?”
“We don’t have time for that.” I said, starting to unbutton his shorts.
He glanced down at my hands. “Oh… so you want to?”
“Yes.” I breathed, “But we have to be quiet.”
“Okay.” He said
I finished unbuttoning his shorts and helped him push them down his legs. He kicked them off then shoved them in the corner. He withered out of his boxers as I quickly lifted my tank top over my head. My bare breasts lay there before him, just begging to be kneaded. He leaned over and sucked on one of my hard nipples, and kneaded my other breast. I sighed heavily and reached down, pushing up my skirt and sliding my underwear to the side.
“Okay,” I whispered, “Let’s do this.”
He positioned himself on top of me and slowly, VERY slowly eased himself in. I sucked in a sharp breath as he was sliding himself in; it all felt so good. As soon as he was in he started a slow rhythm. I so badly wanted to scream out at the top of my lungs, but I had to settle for biting my lip instead. Zac rested his forehead against mine and closed his eyes. His breath hit my face and I shuddered.
“This feels so good.” I whispered
“YOU feel so good.” He said, opening his eyes and looking at me.
“I want to scream.” I confessed
“Ohh… I want to scream too.”
I whimpered again and ran my hands up and down his back, pulling him tight against me. In the back of my mind I could hear the door of the back lounge opening, but I was so wrapped up in the moment that it didn’t quite register.
“Hey Ike, do you know where Zac is?”
Hallie’s voice was heard loud and clear. Both Zac and I froze. Our eyes got huge and I silently prayed to god that she wouldn’t find us.
“I don’t know, have you tried his bunk?” Isaac suggested
“No I thought he might be in there with you… but he’s not?”
“Nope.”
“Hmm…” She trailed off, “Okay then, thanks.”
What happened next was something I wasn’t prepared for. I thought it might happen, but I never thought about what I’d do when it actually happened. The curtain to Zac’s bunk was pulled back and there Hallie stood.
”OH MY GOD!” She screeched
Zac grabbed the blanket at the foot of the bunk and threw it over our naked bodies. “CLOSE THE CURTAIN!” He shouted
Hallie stood there for a minute and stared at us. “I can’t fucking believe you Kinsey!” And with that, she whipped the curtain shut.
“What’s going on?” Isaac asked, running out of the back lounge.
I could hear Hallie crying as she tried to talk to Ike. “How could she do this?!”
“How could who do what?” He asked
“Kinsey! She fucking… I mean she’s fucking… OH GOD!”
“Huh?”
Zac slowly eased out of me and handed me my tank top. I quickly slipped it over my head and tried to smooth out my hair. He slid his boxers on and reached for his shorts.
I stopped him before he could put them on. “I’m sorry.” I said, looking him in the eye
“Why? This isn’t your fault.”
“Yes it is. I could’ve said no but I didn’t.”
“Kinsey please. It’s no big deal… it was bound to happen sometime. Everything will be fine.” He gave me a quick kiss... or rather, a kiss that was meant to be quick, but ended up going on a bit longer than anticipated.
“Hallie what are you talking about?” Isaac asked, “You’re not making any sense.”
“Go look for yourself!” She said, pointing in the direction of Zac’s bunk.
With Zac and I mid kiss, and Zac’s shorts in his hands, Isaac pulled back the curtain. “What the hell?”
Zac and I broke apart and looked up and Ike. “Hi?” I supplied
“Is THIS what she’s talking about? You two were… I mean… well… were you?”
Zac glanced at me briefly. “Well…”
“So you WERE?! OH MY GOD!”
“What’s all this shouting about? Can’t you guys keep… WHOA.” Taylor stood next to Isaac, looking down at Zac and I, his eyes huge.
I sighed and buried my face in my hands. “I can NOT fucking believe this.” I muttered “OH!” I said, sitting up, “Hey I know! Let’s let everyone know, shall we?!”
“Kinsey…” Zac tried to calm me
“No Zac, apparently Hallie wants everyone to know what she saw so let’s just tell them. Now it was - ”
“Look,” Zac interrupted, “Kinsey and I are… together. I’m gonna leave it at that.”
“Oh you’re more than fucking together Zac!” Hallie shouted “Don’t EVEN think about lying.”
“I’m not lying Hallie. I said we’re together.”
“So what were you doing when I pulled the curtain back?”
“HALLIE STOP IT!” I screamed, “I’ve had enough of this, okay?! I’m sorry you didn’t get Zac like you wanted, I’m sorry I lied to you, I’M SORRY! Now get over it! PLEASE!” I jumped out of the bunk and ran for the bathroom.
“Kinsey…” Zac called after me
I shut and locked the door. I leaned up against the wall and closed my eyes, letting the tears fall.

There was a knock on the door close to an hour later. I looked up at the door and wiped under my eyes. “Who is it?” I asked, fearing the answer
There was a pause on the other side of the door. “Taylor.” He finally said
I glanced at my reflection in the mirror and cringed. Dark circles from my mascara running… yuck. I quickly splashed some water on my face and dried it with a towel. I reached for the door handle and opened the door slightly. “May I help you?” I asked
“Can I come in… or will you come out?”
I poked my head out and looked both ways. “Where’s Hallie?”
“Back lounge pouting.” He said, pointing with his finger.
“Oh… well okay then.” I stepped out of the small bathroom and followed Taylor over to the bench in the front lounge. We sat down and I immediately rested my head on his shoulder. “What am I gonna do?” I asked
“First, I think you need to apologize to Hallie.”
“But…”
“And shouting you’re sorry doesn’t count.”
I sat up and turned to face him, bringing my legs up on the bench in front of me. “You DO understand that I hate her with a fiery passion, right?”
“Kinsey…”
“No seriously, Tay. Ever since she came here all she’s done is try to get Zac to go out with her. I told her once before that it was really hard to do that in such a short amount of time, hoping she’d forget about it all together… but she didn’t.”
Taylor sighed and put his arm around me, pulling me up next to him. “I’m sorry Kinsey.”
“What?” I asked, confused
“I just realized everything you’ve had to go through with her. I know how tough these last few weeks have been. I was so happy when you told me about you and Zac. I thought that everything with Hallie would finally be over, but it wasn’t.”
“Argh,” I groaned, “Don’t remind me.”
“You know what the good news is though?”
“What?”
“She leaves in four days.”
I sat up and stared him straight in the eyes. “Are you serious?!”
He nodded. “Yep. I checked it out when you were hiding in the bathroom.”
“Oh my god… four more days? I can so handle that!” I leaned forward and gave him a big hug. “Ah… thank you so much Tay… I swear, I’d have a mental breakdown for sure if I didn’t have you here to talk to.” I backed away and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
“I’m just that good, aren’t I?”
“You’re the bestest.”

We had just arrived in the next city and it was close to two in the morning. I swear, this driving most of the night was really starting to get to me.
“Oh miss Kinsey darling,” Isaac called out to me as I was stepping off the bus, “Wait up, would you?”
I turned to Zac. “I’ll meet you upstairs.” I said. He nodded and grabbed my suitcase from me, jogging to catch up with Taylor.
I waited until Ike was at my side before I started walking again. “What can I do for you?”
“I just wanted to make sure you were okay.” He said, putting his arm around me.
I smiled and leaned my tired head on his shoulder. “I’m okay now, thanks.”
“I um… I mean I just… had no idea you and Zac were…”
“Yeah… I know. We didn’t want to tell anyone yet… at least not until we were ready.”
“Understandable.” He said, “I’m really happy for the both of you though. I can’t remember how far back the whole flirting thing goes, but I’m pretty sure that ever since that started, I thought you two should be together.”
I laughed. “Yeah, me too.”
We entered the lobby and went up to the front desk to check in. When that was all over with a few minutes later we rode the elevator up to the eighth floor silently. I was leaning up against the wall, practically falling asleep. When we stopped at our floor Ike nudged me.
“Kins? We’re here.”
“Hmm?” I opened my eyes and saw the elevator doors opening. “Oh… right.” I followed him down the hall to his room.
“I guess this is where we part ways.” He said, “Would it be okay if I called you… maybe we could do this again sometime?”
I smiled. “Of course… but just don’t tell my boyfriend. I wouldn’t want disaster to strike.”
“No, no. I promise not to say anything.”
We stared at each other for a good minute before I snapped out of my tired daze and spoke up. “RIGHT! So where’s my room?”
Ike smiled and pointed across the hall. “Right there.”
I turned around. “Ohh…” I replied slowly, “I get it.”
“Okay, well goodnight.” He said, “See you in the morning.”
“Night.” I echoed. I walked across the hall and knocked in the door. I waited for what felt like ever before it was answered.
“Sorry, sorry.” Zac said, pulling it open.
“You should be.” I said, stepping into the dimly lit room. “I was waiting out there for – “ I stopped dead in my tracks when I reached the main room. All the lights were off, and there were candles everywhere. The room was glowing… it looked absolutely beautiful. I turned around to face Zac. “What… what is this?”
“This,” He said, closing the gap between us, “Is for you.”
“But… why?”
“Because you deserve it.”
“Even after the way I acted towards Hallie today?”
“Shhh…” He silenced me by placing a finger over my lips. “We’re done talking about that, okay? Right now it’s just you and me.”
I smiled up at him. “Thank you.”
He leaned in so our foreheads were resting against each other’s. “You’re welcome.” He whispered.
I touched my lips to his and he immediately deepened the kiss. I wanted so badly to feel his soft skin against mine… I felt like it had been ages. I slid my fingers under the hem of his t-shirt and up his stomach to his chest. I wrapped my arms around him and pulled his body up against mine. I could feel him through his jeans and I stopped suddenly, pulling myself away from the heated kiss.
“Okay…” I said, trying to catch my breath, “We need to go to bed.”
He raised an eyebrow. “Oh really?”
“Yes, really.”
Without another word, he picked me up and carried me over the bed where we stayed for the rest of the night.
